PROJECT MANAGER II

Build Your Future with a Company that Has Already Built Its Legacy

We are looking for a Project Manager to become an important part of the next generation of Anderson Survey Company, Inc.  Every line we measure and every boundary we mark carries the knowledge of decades and the care of a family who treat each project as if it were our own.  Your story can be more than just surveying land - it can be about shaping the Kansas City landscape with one of the most trusted names in the field.

This is More than Just a Surveying Job

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, work directly with clients, mentor and develop aspiring surveyors, contribute to business development, and help shape the way we operate and grow.  We need a leader, a problem solver, and a difference maker.  You need someone to help you materialize your ambition into something bigger.  This is it.

What Makes this Opportunity Different?

We are not simply looking to fill a Project Manager Position.  We are looking for someone who has the potential to become a leader within our organization.  As you demonstrate technical ability, leadership, business judgement, commitment to clients, and the ability to successfully manage projects and relationships through the years, you could open the door for an uncommon opportunity.  Our long-term vision includes expansion of services and reach.  For the right individual, we are prepared to help with the financial backing, resources, and support needed to launch and lead an affiliate branch with the oldest surveying-only firm in the area.

What We're Looking for in a Project Manager

  • Managing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, utility, and other survey types as requested
  • Coordinating with field and office personnel to ensure efficient project workforce
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients for all communication and project status
  • Identifying and resolving project issues, conflicts, or delays proactively
  • Tracking deadlines to ensure timely deliverable
  • Analyzing project performance and leading job close-out meetings as necessary
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of projects and revision history to support transparency and traceability
  • Responding to RFP's, RFQ's, and fee estimate requests with timely proposals
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, client specifications, company standards, and all applicable laws and regulations
  • PLS preferred, but not required

An Opportunity with Mutual Investment
